# eigentime

eigentime publishes static, read-only files for agents: no API key, no account. Fetch them with any HTTP client (curl, WebFetch).

## Find posts

1. Fetch `https://eigentime.org/llms.txt`. It lists every published post in both languages, newest first, one line each: title, Markdown URL, publication date, tags, description.
2. Match the user's topic against titles, tags and descriptions. Chinese is the primary language; some posts exist in one language only.
3. For just the newest posts, the RSS feeds are smaller: `https://eigentime.org/zh/rss.xml`, `https://eigentime.org/en/rss.xml`.

There is no search API. Site search runs in the browser and cannot be queried over HTTP.

## Read a post

Fetch the post's `.md` URL from llms.txt. The pattern is `https://eigentime.org/{zh|en}/blog/{slug}.md`; the canonical page is the same address without `.md`, ending in `/`. The front matter gives `url` (canonical), `language`, `published`, `updated`, `tags`, `license` and, when one exists, `translation`.

Paid posts (marked "paid" in llms.txt) have no Markdown copy. Only their free preview is public, at the HTML URL. Do not try to unlock them.

## Answer and cite

- Answer in the user's language. If the post has a `translation` in that language, read and cite that version.
- Link the canonical `url`, not the `.md` file, and name the source "eigentime".
- Respect each post's `license`. Most are CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (attribution, non-commercial, share-alike). "版权所有" means all rights reserved: summarize and quote briefly, do not reproduce.
- Report what the post says. Do not add experiences, numbers or conclusions it does not state, and keep its hedges: an opinion stays an opinion.
- Some posts end with a note (写作说明 / writing note) naming the models that drafted, polished or translated them. Mention it when the user asks how a post was written.
